NEW YORK (August 13, 2013) – UnitedHealthcare Community Plan is hiring more than 60 new employees to support its recent expansion in the Hudson Valley, Capital District, Western New York and additional counties in Central New York, which was announced earlier this year.

People with health care, marketing or care provider service experience are encouraged to apply for positions in consumer outreach and care provider services. More information about the open positions is available online at careers.unitedhealthgroup.com.

“Our employees play a critical role in providing a positive health care experience to UnitedHealthcare Community Plan participants throughout New York State,” said Pat Celli, president of UnitedHealthcare Community Plan of New York. “We are excited about the opportunity to offer more New Yorkers access to affordable, quality health care, particularly preventive care, and to increase our staff here in New York.”

UnitedHealthcare Community Plans expanded into 13 additional counties earlier this year and is currently available in 26 counties, including Bronx, Broome, Cayuga, Chenango, Clinton, Fulton, Herkimer, Jefferson, Kings, Madison, Monroe, Nassau, New York, Oneida, Onondaga, Orange, Oswego, Queens, Rensselaer, Richmond, Rockland, Suffolk, Tioga, Ulster, Warren and Westchester counties.
