UnitedHealthcare Employer and Individual Plan Participants Now Have Access to University of Pittsburgh Medical Center
PITTSBURGH (May 31, 2011) – UnitedHealthcare has announced a new network relationship with University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC), providing UnitedHealthcare employer and individual health plan participants access to UPMC's facilities and affiliated physicians.
UPMC operates more than 20 academic, community and specialty hospitals, and 400 outpatient sites; employs more than 2,800 physicians; and offers an array of rehabilitation, retirement and long-term care facilities.
