UnitedHealthCare Community Plan of New Mexico's Baby Blocks™ Program Helps Expectant Moms Deliver Healthy Babies
New online, interactive incentive program reminds pregnant women and new mothers about prenatal and healthy-baby appointments, and provides incentives to reinforce healthy behaviors
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (March. 26, 2014) – UnitedHealthcare Community Plan of New Mexico has launched Baby BlocksTM, an online, interactive incentive program to help pregnant women and new mothers eligible for Medicaid in the state with prenatal and healthy-baby care. Baby Blocks (www.uhcbabyblocks.com) is designed to help women learn more about proper care for their newborns.
Women covered by UnitedHealthcare Community Plan of New Mexico who enroll in Baby Blocks earn rewards for completing prenatal, postpartum and healthy-baby appointments. Users can access an interactive game board that shows their prenatal visits, and opportunities to earn rewards for following a prenatal visit schedule. The program enables users to track appointments, receive email appointment reminders, and earn rewards for keeping the appointments. Rewards include educational books, teething rings and necessary items for mom and new baby.
