Investing in FQHCs to Expand Capabilities During COVID-19

The COVID-19 pandemic amplified health disparities in local communities and also created more opportunities to support community health centers as they sought out new ways to serve their patients.

Our FQHC Transformation Investments Program offered funding to community health centers to address the pandemic, and a choice in how it would be used to advance their overall goals. For some, the funding supported more robust telehealth capabilities, while it helped others implement COVID-19 testing and introduce new care capabilities to improve health outcomes for children.

Learn more about the program and how we have collaborated with FQHCs during the pandemic in this video featuring Michael Lawton, CEO of the Community Plan of Florida.
