National FQHC Advisory Board Member Spotlight: Dr. Debra Andree

Dr. Debra Andree serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer for Community Health Centers, Inc. (CHC), a Federally Qualified Health Center, with 15 healthcare locations offering primary healthcare services in Central Florida.

Since 2017, Dr. Andree has been a key contributor on the UnitedHealthcare FQHC National Advisory Board (FQHC Board) stating that the FQHC Board has given a vehicle to relay in-real time, “What is working well, what can be improved, and how we can innovate to bring increased care, value and quality to our patients and partners.”

By participating on the FQHC Board Dr. Andree called out the opportunity to, “Further guide collaboration on quality metrics and thus overall patient health outcomes,” as one of great significance.

Dr. Andree enjoys the two-way dialogue created by the FQHC Board remarking that it has enabled CHC to, “Understand the payor challenges and how to be a better partner for effective change that has the power to change patient lives.”

Like other FQHC Board members, Dr. Andree was grateful to partner with UnitedHealthcare and other FQHCs to work through a collective COVID-19 response – mentioning that, “The collaboration led to immediate solutions and delivery of effective resources that made a significant impact for patients and health care teams cross the U.S.”
