National FQHC Advisory Board Member Spotlight: Jennifer Nolty

Jennifer has worked at the National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC) since 2014, specifically supporting the Primary Care Associations (PCAs) and Health Center Controlled Networks (HCCNs) in all areas of operations.  She also works with these organizations and community health centers in the areas of managed care contracting, value-based payment, and accountable care.  Prior to joining NACHC, Jennifer worked for almost 20 years in the physician and network relations area of three managed care organizations – Geisinger Health Plan, University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) Health Plan, and Cigna-HealthSpring.  Jennifer’s experience spanned across all product lines: commercial, Medicaid, and Medicare and included network development, contracting, credentialing, physician incentives, reimbursement, HEDIS, PCMH, and IPA/ACO development.  In addition, Jennifer worked closely with primary care practices to impact costs while increasing quality for their patients.  Jennifer earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Health Care Management from King’s College in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania.
