Video: On Partnerships

At UnitedHealthcare Community & State, partnerships across systems and with community-based organizations serve as an integral part of our effort to effectively address the needs of the communities and individuals that we serve. We are collaborating with groups such as public housing agencies, supportive housing providers, food access organizations, and employment support organizations that play a critical role in helping us to address community needs and ensure access to programs that will help improve individual health and well-being outcomes.

In this Partnerships Panel, our policy leaders will answer the following questions:

  • How do we define partnerships?
  • Who should health plans and Medicaid health plans partner with?
  • What should health plans be aware of when thinking about partnering specifically with community-based, nonprofit organizations?
  • What are some examples of an integrated partnership?
