The benefits of Managed Long-Term Services and Supports

Today, there are 25 states that provide Long-Term Services and Supports (LTSS) through a managed care model — otherwise known as Managed Long-Term Services and Supports (MLTSS).

Many individuals who require LTSS have complex health needs and require tailored care to continue living in their preferred setting. As more people look to age in their home or community, MLTSS helps members coordinate their benefits to keep care under one roof — which helps reduce care duplication and administrative burdens for states and providers.

Learn more about the cost-efficient and sustainable solutions offered through MLTSS programs in this video with Michelle Martin, Senior Policy Director, Long-Term Services and Supports.
