Committed to a healthy Florida

Community & State is the business segment of UnitedHealthcare that provides health care coverage for beneficiaries of Medicaid and other government health care programs. These health plans operate locally as UnitedHealthcare Community Plan.

To continue to drive Florida Medicaid toward a best-in-class model, we will:

  • Provide timely, integrated, whole-person care delivery that drives quality population health outcomes.
  • Develop innovative partnerships with stakeholders that transform care.
  • Create a culture of quality that lowers cost, maximizes value, and increases member and provider satisfaction.

UnitedHealthcare Community & State has in-depth experience and knowledge of the Florida market. We live here. We work here. We serve here. Our strong local presence enables us to see the opportunities as well as the issues, which supports our ability to deliver effective solutions to address the specific needs of Florida.

Fostering strong relationships with our provider partners to advance healthcare in Florida

By providing supports and technology, implementing effective value-based care models, and listening to the feedback of our provider partners, we aim to develop trust, make a meaningful impact on the healthcare delivery system, and improve health outcomes for the individuals we serve.
