United for Michigan

We are proud to serve the state of Michigan and are committed to working with our community and provider partners to promote population health and advance health equity by reducing racial and ethnic health disparities. We work to improve quality and health outcomes for members and are committed to equitable, whole person, community-centric solutions.

We use our experience living and working in Michigan to improve the health of our members, our neighbors, and our communities. We do this by partnering with members and health care providers to understand their unique needs and coordinate different types of value-based care that is high-quality and efficient. We also use our relationships with community-based organizations, such as food pantries, foundations, and schools, to provide support beyond health services that help people stay healthy and keep our communities strong.

Social and economic factors have a profound impact on achieving and maintaining good health. Through our Empowering Health grants and local outreach efforts, we're working with local organizations to provide Michigan residents with a coordinated system of clinical and social services that can produce better health outcomes and make the health system work better for everyone.

We are committed to improving the health of our communities by advancing health equity, coordinating high-quality care for our members, and continuing to build relationships with providers.

Thank you,

We recognize that good health requires more than just timely access to care. We are continuously evaluating ways to improve our members’ overall well-being. We develop programs that address the needs of the communities we serve including food insecurity, housing instability and other social determinants of health.
