Building a healthier Nebraska

Community & State is the business segment of UnitedHealthcare that provides health care coverage for beneficiaries of Medicaid and other government health care programs. These health plans operate locally as UnitedHealthcare Community Plan.

Ensuring that our members receive high-value care starts with our provider partners. We support our providers in improving health outcomes through information, data and rewards for quality care. We strive to serve our local communities in Nebraska by investing in relationships, establishing long-term commitments and partnering at the community level. We also recognize that good health requires more than timely access to care.

In pursuit of our mission to deliver best-in-class care to Medicaid members in Nebraska, we seek to:

  • Provide integrated, individualized whole-person care delivery that drives quality population health outcomes.
  • Invest in partnerships with stakeholders to develop innovative and holistic approaches to caring for our local community.
  • Create a culture of quality that maximizes value and increases the satisfaction of members and providers.

UnitedHealthcare Community & State has deep experience and engagement across Nebraska. We live here. We work here. We serve here. Our strong local presence informs the way we identify opportunities and deliver effective solutions to address the unique needs of Nebraskans.
