A family's mission to save lives

Dr. Jeb Teichman, former pediatrician and retired Chief Medical Officer for the Community Plan of Kentucky, has always been a strong advocate for vaccines like the flu shot. After losing his college-age son to influenza in 2019, he and his family have made it their mission to educate people on the importance of getting their flu shot. He hopes that sharing his son’s story will save live and prevent tragic losses like theirs.

"This is Brent's legacy,” said Dr. Teichman. “The flu takes the lives of healthy people. Our mission is to inform people of that.” Hear from Dr. Teichman and his wife as they reflect on the life-changing impact of vaccines.
