Dr. Kenyatta Lee is a primary care provider at Pareto Health Clinic in Jacksonville. Earlier this year, he closed his practice for a day to see only UnitedHealthcare Medicaid members. Many of these patients were black women who had not received preventive care measures for some time.
“United has done a better job… beyond the conversation and the marketing and all the pretty pictures at actually putting tactical resources in place to make it easier for people like us to do the work we need to do and then see those outcomes in the populations we care for,” said Dr. Lee. “We really enjoy that.”
